Feedback open from 6 May to 20 June 2022

Feedback on the station locations for the Rapid Transit as part of the North west transport future has now closed. Thank you to everyone who had their say.

We had asked for specific feedback on our preferred route for the future Rapid Transit Corridor and associated station locations to finalise the preferred route, the supporting facilities at each station and the types of connections needed to allow people to access it easily.

To-date we have had over 150 pieces of feedback

We will review all feedback and consider how we can incorporate any changes to our application for designating the route later this year.

A summary of the feedback received will be available on this page in the coming month.

What happens now?

We are working towards lodging our Notice of Requirement (NoR) documentation to protect the land we need. Once this is finalised it will be lodged with either Waka Kotahi or Auckland Transport as the requiring authorities. An important part of developing a NoR is consulting with those potentially affected – the community, Manawhenua, businesses, government and community organisations. Find out more information on these processes.
